Adjunct Faculty -Legal Research and Legal Writing Instructor

The Justice Studies Program in the School of Humanities, Education, Justice & Social Sciences at Lasell University is seeking a part-time Legal Studies instructor to teach LS 202 Legal Research and Analysis for Fall 2024 and the follow up course , LS 301 Legal Writing in Spring 2025 .

These are face-to-face classes and must be taught one of the following times:

Mondays 3:30-6:00 pm Fall; Spring to be determined;

Mondays /Wednesdays or Wednesdays/Fridays at 9:30-10:45 or 12:30-1:45

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
  • Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
    Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone
  • Incorporate Canvas (online learning platform) into the course.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.
